Since the opening of the school during the 2000-01 academic year Felix Varela High School art students have been leaving their mark in more ways than one. The advanced Drawing and Painting and ceramics students have adorned the walls from the opening breezeway, welcoming students as they walk into the building, all the way through the corridors of the media center on the second floor of Varela’s main building.
