State Representative Anitere Flores (R, 114) invites the community to an education forum on college preparedness. The forum will bring together community leaders, educators, students, parents, and others to discuss the importance of a college education and how to prepare, and the future of public education. Participants will provide information about the transition from high school to college.

“This is a great opportunity for students and parents to come learn more about life after high school—applying and getting into college, financial assistance options, and scholarship opportunities,” said Representative Flores. “In today's economy a college education is extremely important, and I want to make sure that our students and parents feel that they have the information available to prepare for that next step after high school graduation.”
