From ribbons and curls to lipstick and pearls, the journey from girlhood to womanhood holds a multitude of joys and challenges. Join psychologist
Regina Mendoza, Psy.D., for a presentation that will help parents travel this road along with their daughters. She’ll discuss:
-Female images in the media
-Creating and maintaining healthy friendships
-Helping girls understand their changing bodies
-Encouraging girls to strive for achievement in school, sports and other activities
-The importance of positive role models
