Senior Amanda Dilella represented Felix Varela Senior High School in the “” contest sponsored by State Rep. Steinberg. She presented our class bill on Sexual Education in schools and STD testing in colleges. She was up against 7 schools from around the county. I am proud to say Felix Varela and Amanda won the competition. She will now be working with two state legislatures to draft the bill, locate funding sources and get the bill to Tallahassee for debate and passage. If you have Amanda please congratulate her.
